About us

BES PTO is the local organization of parents, guardians, teachers, and staff supporting the students at Buckner Elementary School. Our purpose is to support the mission and vision of Buckner Elementary School by fostering a community atmosphere and facilitating financial support where needs are identified in the school. We hope to encourage parent and local community participation in school activities, functions, and services.


There are no official membership dues or application. If you have a student at BES, you are a member! And we would love to have you join and support us however you can. We meet 3-4 times per semester on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm in the BES Library (check our calendar for set meeting dates). See you there!
